From Anomaly Island, I decide to go across the water to test the limits of the edge of the level on the far bank to the west. I find how far I can go, and I continue south to see the limits there. it feels to me that in Call of the Zone I am able to go farther south than I remember in other Mods or the retail version of Clear Sky. I can actually go far enough south where I can look eastward and see the main building and trader building of the Clear Sky Base. This is a farther view that I was not expecting to achieve. No man or mutant ever goes this far.

I detect some Monolith at the Pump Station, so I go kill and loot them and then extend my travel to go to a few nearby activated stashes. Back to the Fishing Hamlet and Clear Sky Base, and having emptied almost every stash I decide to leave the Marshes. However this goes badly for my ten Companions, as some of them are Clear Sky and we run into a Military squad at the Southern Farmstead, and they are enemies. The Military squad lose but I lose a couple of men. I should have released all the Clear Sky before leaving the Marshes.

We arrive in the Cordon as the sun has already gone down. I park my Companions in the cellar, give Nimble a hastily repaired Vintar for money and do some artifact hunting and emptying a hard to reach stash at the Trash Pit. I really don't want to stay long in the Cordon.
