Back at the Loner Base, I upgrade the Ecologist Guard Suit and the CS-1a Body Armor, to compare them both against the Bar Guard uniform which I though was a very good first purchase, with its five artifact slots to wear until I got the final upgrade my current Exoskeleton. The Ecologist Guard Suit could carry 60kg and had four artifact slots and had slightly better armor but not as good wound, impact and explosion protection, with almost equal thermal, shock, chemical and radiation protection. The CS-1a Body Armor could only carry 50kg but had five artifact slots. It had inferior armor, wound, impact and explosion but slightly better thermal, shock, chemical and radiation protection, which are all things artifacts can help with. Between the two I would rather have the Ecologist Guard Suit over the CS-1a Body Armor, but I would like to compare the CS-1a Body Armor to the CS-2 which is a great Clear Sky choice at the beginning when you don't have much money and need to carry a lot of weight.
