I had recorded another video, where I left Garbage and then arrived in Rostok. I just happened to check my Faction relations and I had another mysterious drop in Duty numbers down to below 300, which was about a 240 point drop from when I left the Cordon. When did that happen? I didn't encounter or shoot anyone. I went back to previous manual saves and found all of Garbage was the dropped score while it had not happened yet in the Cordon. The only thing I can see was the call to help from Duty about Mercenaries at the train depot. Both were allies so I stayed out of it but did pass close to the building. Did this cause the point drop?

I started a manual save back at the Loner Base and decided to see if I could get through Rostok and Garbage, arrive at Rostok without points lost. I did arrive in Garbage and got the same message, but I avoided the same path of travel north and took one on the other side of the main road. We went around the eastern pile, and I placed them safely in the Flea Market Cellar. At that point I decided not to linger and go on to Rostok. Once there, I got new messages that the Freedom and Loner Factions have a cease fire. Also, that Clear Sky and Loner relations were deteriorating. A double whammy. At least I retained all my Duty points this time, but I may try a reload to omit the change to Clear Sky relations. There's really no other way to remove an unwanted change.
