After disposing of some Monolith in the eastern plains north of the Gas Station, I get a message about gunfire at the coal chute. When I get back to the western gate and overlook the hills to the south, I noticed a large wave of blue energy, exactly what you see when a Burer puts up a shield of protection when attacked. As I was watching with my binoculars, I realized it was not a Burer but a Karlik. The Karlik was probably the rarest of all the creatures in the Zone. It's hard to kill due to its similar powers like a Burer and some people believe they are even stronger and deadlier. It would be later when I could go safely to see the body.
