My goal this time is to leave the Military Outpost, make my way to the Cordon Checkpoint to Garbage, turn around and hit all the stashes that are north of the railroad tracks. The first stash is just north of the camp where the Military has been staying, so I briefly talked to him before going for the stump stash. I decide next, to go around the Rookie Village at the rear, where I expect to alert the crazy Loner as I run past. He spots me and chases me to the Trash Pit, that I use as my escape route. Soon I am in the ravine behind the Old Mill, where I deal with both men and mutants.

I find the Dutyer there, but he's also surrounded by more Monolith we dispatch. I wonder where all the Monolith were coming from? Crossing under the railroad bridge, I'm back overlooking the Old Farmhouse where I see a lone Monolith Exo that I zap. Going down the hill and arriving at the scene, a Military squad diverts off the road and takes up position at the Old Farmhouse, where I decide to end this segment of my trip.
