The Mercenary leader Dushman, had originally given me the X-18 Lab mission, of which I had gone below and retrieved the document that was needed there. However, I did not go get my reward for that before my Faction relations with them turned and they became enemies. The document in my inventory vanished and I awaited what was to come next. After a few tasks given by others, I was finally directed back to Olivious, who talked about going to Yantar.

Did that mean I was just going to skip it? That didn't seem right, as in my previous game I ended up with two Psi Helmets, due to a similar break in the continuity of that mission. Olivius wanted me to go talk to Limpid first. To my relief, Limpid said he could make a Psi Helmet, but first he needed a document from the X-18 Lab. Okay, that should be no problem except it got me thinking. I've already killed the Snorks, Poltergeists and Pseudogiant and when I left the first time, and the Military had come in, which was an ally at the time. I expected the Military to still be down there since I guess under most circumstances, the Player would kill them on their escape.

So, in this video I decided to give X-18 a try just to see how it would turn out. I had my Companions changed from passive to aggressive, before entering X-18, which worked out nicely as all the Military was killed and I lost no men. It appeared I only had to grab the document and then leave. Little did I know my Companions would be allowed to leave but I am trapped, through some game bug where I'm physically the same depth beneath the Old Warehouse but there is no longer an X-18 Lab surrounding me. I tried it two more times with the same result. The only thing I can think of is to go back to the two dead Scientists and see if I can get the codes again and input them once more. I can't think of another solution, and this may be a game breaking bug.
