At this point in the game, I start going out of my way to grind for enemy kills so that I could earn all the achievements. I did this too early in the game though, as the final world and optional bonus area are packed with large groupings of enemy types. So, for instance, it'll load up a section of level with multiple zombies, spiders, etc. I wasn't aware of this at the time, and instead found an area next to a scene transition where I could load the same area in quickly to kill the same enemies repeatedly. Good idea in theory, but not properly executed.
