This alludes to one of the simple issues this game has, which is theming or world-building. Instead of building distinct worlds and areas that separates environments, enemies, and soundtracks, it's more like a blender where things just pop up wherever. It's clear enough that there are easy and more difficult or powerful enemies, but they aren't reserved for the end game as much as they could have been. I think what makes later areas harder is basic enemy spam, not selective enemy placement and choice.
