So many questions arise from the table-setting puzzle. How would something like that even be constructed in the first place? This was an earlier era in history, what kind of technology or mechanism could be put into place that would be so sensitive it knows whether you've placed each utensil in the proper place (that's the spoon, not the fork). Considering it doesn't contain something mind-shattering, it really begs the question on who would go to such lengths to set this up. I guess that's why you don't think too hard with these games. I do admit that I didn't get the typewriter puzzle at all. It made no sense to me.
