We're prototyping an inventory solution today! We're gonna see if we can make a way to swap hotbars quickly that still feels Minecraft-y and has a tradeoff to it. Inventory can be a tricky thing not to overdo, so we attempt to find the balance between risk and reward.

Extra Stuff:
- So let me attempt to explain the weirdest error that happened. Basically, the file was displaying as toolbag_fill.JSON inside the text editor, which seems normal. But when I loaded up some of my other reference files I noticed they all looked like other_file.json, which was weird. I tried renaming the toolbag file, but I couldn't get it to turn into lowercase, not to mention I didn't even think it mattered. But after exhausting every other troubleshooting method (a couple hours later), I remade the file and once it showed up as toolbag_fill.json it worked. Easily the weirdest bug I've encountered so far.
- So upon considering the pickup order for the hotbar, I think what needs to happen is the player needs to pick up every item at the same time for the order to be maintained. If you're a little off to the side or you run past the items then the out of range items appear last in the hotbar, messing up the order (since the splat pattern has nothing to do with the hotbar order). So as long as the player hitbox is intersecting with all 9 item hitboxes before the pickup delay timer ends, order is maintained.
- So you may be wondering why "cloud storage" wasn't used in conjunction with the bundle. The main reason is that while player nbt can be modified, player items cannot be created out of thin air. That then means that while hotbar order could be "cloud stored" within the Toolbag's nbt in a hidden tag, it could not be placed on an empty hotbar since no item would exist to be modified. So that in the end, is why we went with the whole throwing it on the ground thing.

It's a prototype that may or may not work on multiplayer.
Also, try not to throw your stuff into lava. That would be bad.

EDIT - 2/7/2023: Toolbag will now work in any hotbar slot!

Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
