Most people use digital directional air roll, but Zen has done something interesting and bound his Air Roll Left to the Left Trigger, which is an analog input. We're going to try it out and see how it feels as we talk about what makes analog air roll so good, and why you might want to try it yourself.

Extra Notes:
- So Air Roll Right on Right Trigger does activate both accelerate and air roll right. The catch is that you can't accelerate while using Air Roll Left (because the two air rolls cancel each other out). If you set your primary directional air roll on Right Trigger and your secondary on Left Trigger it could work, but not being able to accelerate while using the secondary air roll is a pretty big downside and I can see why Zen doesn't using any directional air roll on Right Trigger (his Air Roll Right is on his Right Bumper). πŸ˜₯
- Supposedly some controllers can't take advantage of this Left Trigger analog air roll, but that's something I heard second hand, so it's worth trying it out yourself in game. πŸ€”
- The Right Stick setup I mentioned is super fun; it feels like a flight simulator or something. If you could toggle between the air roll and the camera, (kinda like how you can switch between air steer and air roll on the left stick) I would way prefer this method. It's far more intuitive than Left Trigger, even for me who has very little experience with directional air roll. I recommend trying this method in training or a rings map for the sheer fun/experience of it! 😁
