This is a challenge for Digimon World where I have to learn a new technique from every battle that I get into. There are a lot of battles that you need to get into in order to be able to complete the game. There is a limit to the number of techniques that get used by Digimon who need to be beaten for game completion. The quantity of techniques that get used by opposing Digimon might not be great enough in order for it to be possible to learn a new technique from every battle. Therefore, it might not be possible to complete the whole of the game under these restrictions. However, I aim to make as much progress as I'm physically able to while having to learn a new technique from every battle.

Random battles will have to be avoided at all costs; I can't be learning techniques from unnecessary battles as this would leave me with less techniques to learn from the mandatory battles. It is permitted for my Digimon to fade away and for me to have multiple lifespans. However, it is not permitted for me to lose techniques from running out of lives as this would enable me to re-learn techniques that had previously been known, taking away from the challenge. Once a technique gets mastered it has to stay there for the rest of the game.

The previous part (Part 1) ended with me at the Ice Sanctuary with the battle against the Icemon and 2 Hyogamon's ahead of me. I defeated those Digimon and recruited Angemon, learning Ice Needle from the battle. Whamon then faded away with me being at 44 Prosperity Points, and the green egg was the egg that I chose.

Botamon Digivolved to Koromon. I then had Koromon sleep at Kunemon's Bed, resulting in him Digivolving to Kunemon. With Kunemon I recruited Piximon and Kunemon, bringing me up to 48 Prosperity Points. I learned Danger Sting from Piximon and Electric Cloud from Kunemon. I then Digivolved from Kunemon to Bakemon.

With Bakemon I recruited Kokatorimon, Vademon and Airdramon. I learned Megalo Spark from Kokatorimon and Hurricane from Airdramon. I Digivolved from Bakemon to Digitamamon via the Misty Egg from the Secret Beach Cave. With Digitamamon I recruited Ogremon, Vegiemon and Mojyamon, bringing myself up to 61 Prosperity Points. I learned Magma Bomb from the Ogremon battle.

Digitamamon faded away and I started afresh with Botamon. Botamon Digivolved to Koromon, then Agumon and then Tyrannomon. With Tyrannomon I went from 61 Prosperity Points to 70 Prosperity Points, recruiting Meramon, Leomon, Etemon and Drimogemon. I learned Dynamite Kick from Meramon and War Cry from Etemon. By using a Golden Banana that I purchased from Etemon afterwards I was able to Digivolve from Tyrannomon to Etemon and enter Grey Lord's Mansion. I recruited SkullGreymon, learning Buster Dive. I also recruited Devimon, learning Muscle Charge. This brought me up to 75 Prosperity Points.

When Etemon faded away I chose the green egg again. Like before, I Digivolved to Agumon, except this time the Champion that I Digivolved to was Meramon. I recruited MetalGreymon, learning Infinity Burn. This brought me up to 78 Prosperity Points. I then Digivolved to Andromon and reached 84 Prosperity Points, recruiting MegaDramon and MetalMamemon. I learned DG Dimension from MegaDramon and Pulse Laser from MetalMamemon. I also defeated Machinedramon and Giromon, learning All Range Beam from Machinedramon and Delete Programme from Giromon.

After Andromon faded away I moved onto my final lifespan. I chose the green egg and Digivolved through to Numemon, with Agumon being my Rookie. With Numemon I defeated the Numemon in Factorial Town, learning Skunk Spray and earning my 85th Prosperity Point. I then went to Toy Town and Digivolved from Numemon to Monzaemon. I then saw to the remainder of the game, going from 85 Prosperity Points to 98 Prosperity Points. I recruited Monzaemon, Andromon, Nanimon, Giromon and Digitamamon. I learned Thunder Bolt from WaruMonzaemon and Confusion Storm from Digitamamon.

This leaves me at 98/100 Prosperity Points, with Gabumon and Patamon being left unrecruited. I think that 98 Prosperity Points is as good as it's going to get. To recruit Gabumon I would need to be able to learn either Megaton Punch, Dynamite Kick or War Cry; all 3 of these are techniques that I already have. To recruit Patamon I would have to learn a technique from all 3 individual fights. This would mean needing to learn Dynamite Kick, Wind Cutter and Spinning Shot from the 3 battles combined. I don't have Wind Cutter or Spinning Shot but do have Dynamite Kick. If I had done the game differently and recruited Gabumon and Patamon then I think that I would've ended up being unable to recruit other Digimon, and they probably would've been worth more Prosperity Points than Gabumon and Patamon. I did the game in a way where the Digimon that I'm missing are only worth 1 Prosperity Point each.
