Can I S-Rank Cagney Carnation While Ignoring His Minions?
100One of the challenge ideas I've considered trying is to beat bosses with a S-rank while ignoring minions. I suspect Cagney is a good bit easier than Ribbly and Croaks so I opted to start here.
I was able to win without smoke bomb but not hitless so I made a small concession to use it to avoid getting cornered (sometimes you just get unlucky with spawns) to speed this up. Charge shot was used to avoid mishaps with killing minions (given how powerful charge is in general that might have made things easier). The last phase is a bit difficult to stay safe with the minion overhead. You usually need to small hop then dash to avoid missing the platform and falling into the thorns.
