Can I think my way out of mental illness?
26Spoiler alert: NO.
It's not often that I film when I'm struggling this much, and it's only possible after I've done enough self-care to get here. I have what I now have to accept is severe and complex mental illness, which despite the word "mental" actually has a lot of physical effects. There's also a degree of unpredictability. Also "anosognosia" is the word for people with mental illness not being fully aware of their impairment, that's a fun one I'll never remember.
