As I was reading through this comment about One Punch, an enemy in Borderlands 3 that can one-shot the player NO MATTER WHAT. I mean, this is a Saitama reference so it makes sense.

So I started thinking, could a high-capacity shield actually save my sorry butt from this overpowered freak? To find out, I figured I'd need a shield with a capacity of, oh, I don't know, just one billion. Because why not go overboard, right?...
