5In this video we successfully beat the 9th scenario by luckily getting the dragon castle and using them and their magical immunity to take over the map. As always the answer is black dragons.
What makes a worthless hero?
You can use any heroes you start the level with but no named high power heroes (with the exception of Roland in the finale as keeping him alive is a condition)
If you are recruiting a new hero and are using them for battle they must be a sorceress, or wizard.
You cannot cast any spells.
You cannot use any landmarks on the map to increase experience, gain skills, or increase stats (attack power, defense, etc)
You cannot hold any artifacts. A "junk" hero at your castle can hold them for you but they cannot hold an army, and any artifacts that give you daily resources must be given to a hero that can be dismissed ASAP.
Finally, when you level up, you must always pick the worse of the skills presented to you. They are presented here in order of 'must pick if available' to 'you'll probably never pick this'.
