Can You Beat Pokémon Shield Using Only A Lone Eevee?
Pokémon Sword and Shield boast over 600 Pokémon for the player to choose from to make up their team of six to clear the game with and out of all of them, Eevee is and always has been my favourite.
So what if I tried to clear an entire Pokémon game with it and nothing else?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
After going through the editing process for this video, I’m realising that I should not have approached the “Can You Beat” video format the way that I did. My original intention was to begin with something that wasn’t overwhelmingly difficult so I could test the waters to see how long a project like this would take to edit and if I would enjoy it more or at least find it more worthwhile to do than the Gone Postal videos with the time it took to edit those. Ultimately, it did not make as much of a difference as I had hoped and these larger projects will take a long time to produce which I can only realistically get around by bringing in outside help which I do not wish to do. With that said, I ended the playthrough feeling that I did not want to throw away all of the footage that I had of this run after coming up with what still is a nice novelty replay of Shield for myself and it was another chance to sharpen my script writing skills while also having fun with it which is always welcome. I may even redo this run in the future with better adjustments to how I go about the rules. I also rushed the voiceover since it was late during recording and I wanted to get it done before the end of the week so I ended up talking a bit too fast for my own good. Short version is, don’t take this run too seriously, it was meant more as a stepping stone for future projects of this type rather than a completely serious challenge run and later CYB videos will receive the proper time, effort and consideration that I should have put into them to begin with.
