128Soviet Mission 1 MIND SIGHT in Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, this is a first mission in the fan Soviet Campaign made by DieSystem. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
This mission takes place in exactly same location like in the Allied counterpart, but it's a little bit longer because well, Soviet tech. We do not have any Prism Tanks unfortunately and V3s are hilariously bad in vanilla Yuri's Revenge, so Siege Choppers are always better though. It is also quite advised to use the Yuri tech whenever it is possible during the missions, remember that Brutes are resistant to mind control. This mission is fairly easy, just avoid using V3 Launchers because they are wasted money, nothing worse than V3 missiles shot by Gattlings. Once you start the mission, you will notice that Psychic Dominator is online since the beginning, but do not worry because it's badly protected. You can send your initial 4 Rhino Tanks to the east and then head north to the Psychic Dominator, destroy Gattling Tower and focus on SW. There are also several tech buildings on map - 4 Oil Derricks where 3 of them are easily reachable, Machine Shop, Tech Airfield and Tech Power Plant. You will better destroy the Alien outpost in the middle of the map as quick as possible, if you hesitate too long, they will produce units like crazy. Capture the Yuri's Barracks to train the Brutes, even though they are weak as always, they are great force against Psychic Towers, unable to be mind controlled. Once you break through any of the chokepoints, the mission is easy as all you have to do now, is to eradicate all Alien presence on the map.
