This challenge is no joke, and I got super lucky in this run of it. The best advice and strategy I can offer is to remain calm, even as the number of enemy superweapons builds up. Micromanage your forces and get a good defence and you should be fine. The tactics I used in this video work wonders if you can pull them off.
