1. based on the first clue reveal, sometimes it pays to run right for the interior and skip the bad pileup towns like carmick and nichols.
2. gather up supplies from the outbuildings and bring them into the main lair. this not only means more supplies for you, it means less for the challenger teams.
3. it was early enough in the round at a central town that i was confident in looting the first 2. this refers to number 1 above, part of the benefit of running straight to the interior.
4. i burned the hunter with drilling because i didnt want anyone else to trade up to it.
