pretty simple build with ammo aura and shout. i switched to frag grenade to save a point. frag grenade is really bad but with ammo regen you can basically just plasma anything you would otherwise krak, like ogryns. the plasma gun is extremely strong and easy to use. and other than the ammo aura itself, it doesnt need any support skills to function optimally.

you can save a few points if you go down the middle of the tree, taking krak and 5% damage aura. with these points, but the loss of ammo regen hurts the plasma gun too much, i feel.

for melee, the middle and right branches at the bottom are strong without keystones. the big change for melee after the new patch is onslaught rending stacks are now ranged only. but with this build, you end up with attack speed, crit, and rending. any melee weapon works, but i like devil's claw for the versatility and ease of use.

i strongly believe that, if you are going to take ammo aura, you should also take the +50% coherency boost at the beginning of the tree. ammo aura is the only "2 way" aura in the game, where the benefit is mutual whether you or your team makes the kill. this makes a wider radius really helpful for your ammo and theirs. a smaller radius will give the team less ammo, over the course of an entire round, due to positioning.

some may prefer taking 5% grenade regen instead of the 50% toughness reduction on +75% toughness in the bottom middle branch. but with the shout, you will be over 75% toughness for a large portion of the match. this is an underrated skill for "oops" protection as it significantly reduces the damage of that first unexpected hit. frag grenades are garbage anyway.
