Capcom Fighting Collection (coming in June 2022)
2I really wasn't expecting this collection. Red Earth will finally have a console release after almost 26 years! Crazy.
It's funny to me that Vampire Hunter 2 and Vampire Savior 2 are in this collection since those games are heavily imbalanced. It's gonna be interesting to see people play those two particular games online. I guess HSF2 as well, with all its wackiness. Oh, can't forget Pocket Fighter and its throw loops and unblockables.
And Cyberbots is getting released again. This is the third release I can think of in about 6-7 years. The PS1 version was released via PSN, and then the arcade version was in the recent Capcom Arcade Stadium. Now the arcade version will be in CFC. This will be the second release of this game within a year, but this version will have rollback netcode, at the very least.
What I'm also excited for is the new options the games are supposed to get, along with the gallery. The gallery is supposed to have 400 music tracks! There will also be a physical release, meaning that for the first time (potentially....it seems as if the West is getting the physical version too this time, unlike Beat-Em-Up Bundle) Vampire Hunter 2, Savior 2, and Cyberbots will have their first ever physical copies outside Japan, while Red Earth will have its first physical copy.....EVER.
One of my friends joked that this should be called "Darkstalkers and Friends" instead.
