Capcom Presents: The Haunted Mansion! part 1
1Welcome SimuSquad to a brand new retro adventure! We are diving into Resident Evil on Nintendo GameCube! It is an update and expansion of the original Resident Evil on Playstation! It is a game that I have never beaten, but it's time to check this off the list!
There were some technical issues with my GameCube, but I cut out the issues at the beginning. We start off at the max available difficulty by accident. I discovered it relatively quickly and restarted at the lower difficulty. We get to see that this version of the game got rid of the loveable (and moderately terrible) live action video from the intro of the Playstation game. Luckily, the voice acting is still terrible (but loveable). We find our first zombie, and Barry kills it for us. We look for Chris Redfield as his safety is our objective. We also found out that they changed some of the classic dialogue (R.I.P. Jill sandwich line). We get quite a bit done and end right after we discover our first Crimson Head enemy. It was a good start to what I hope to be a great game!
