Finally! The ACTUAL Legend of Zelda! Part 1
0Welcome to SimuSquad adventurers to a brand new adventure here on the channel! We are diving into the game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on the Nintendo Switch! It was a gift from my wife, and I'm excited to share it with you guys. Let's jump on in.
Once we boot up the game, we get to start as a fully powered up Link as we are sneaking into a dungeon. There are several enemies here, but we get through with minimal effort. At the end, we meet Ganon. A fight ensues, but when he is defeated, he doesn't seem very concerned as he fades away. As Link goes to help free Zelda from her crystal prison, a rift appears from Ganon's weapon he left behind. As Link sinks into the rift, he fires a single arrow that hits crystal, and leaves a crack in the outside. Zelda uses it to break her way out, and get out just as the rift starts to spread. She has to outrun the rift as it spreads behind her. We get free, and look out over this game's version of Hyrule. Zelda is quickly found by the castle guard, and taken to the castle to see the king. He is elated to see Zelda, but during our conversation a rift appears. The rift swallows the king, the general, and the minister before they could do anything to save themselves. Quickly after, dark copies of these characters leap out of the rift. The Dark King quickly orders Zelda to be locked into the dungeon for causing the rifts.
Zelda is locked away in a cell to await execution. While she stresses the coming execution, a new ally appears. It is a being named Tri. They are there to help save Zelda by giving her the Tri-Rod. This is the main item that the game was made for. It allows us to copy items and defeated enemies. As Zelda makes her escape with her new ability, we run into Impa who covers our escape and directs us to a safe haven. As we escape, we fall into an underground river that sweeps us away to the lower part of the map. Luckily, it is relatively close to our objective. We find our first combat encounter and start to copy enemies. We work our way to our first town, and find Link's house. We find out that there is a nearby rift that has swallowed townspeople up. As we investigate further, we find out that our objective has also been swallowed by the rift. We head into a new direction, and find our first dungeon. Once we complete it, we head back to our objective and learn what the stakes of the game are. And with that, we end the stream!
