Capcom vs. SNK 2: Athena Asamiya Arcade Playthrough [Single Mode] [Playstation 2, 2001]
*Note: This is a casual longplay video. I don't edit out losses in order to not give the impression that I'm a perfect player. Videos of mine are done out of pure entertainment (...and other reasons...), not for showing off how good I am. Also I shall warn that while I may take notice of requests, there will be no guarantee that I'll actually do them. I tend to do my own stuff on this channel on my own time but if the cards line up depending on the situation I MAY just do a little request here and there. Just a fair warning to those watching.
Warning: This particular playthrough is pretty stupid. I know it's stupid, but I really don't care. It was oddly fun, despite how silly it was. It's got two annotations to give those that wanna 'get it going already' the times where they can head to during the troubled times. Otherwise (especially for the end boss) enjoy Athena losing a lot!
So... during this video I was wondering just how bad CvS2 could be on Max difficulty... Never mind the fact that I'm not exactly great at it, I wanted to give it a shot. I surely made it worse using Athena; despite the fact I love her and how Capcom converted her spriting from KOF '95 into CVS2, she's... a little on the weak side. I had a feeling I'd probably get my butt kicked pretty hard (my Yuri playthrough, despite being on 6 star difficulty, barely passed through God Rugal without continuing... bless her heart), but after a silly stage one start (my love for mirror matches may be a bit much...) it all literally goes burning down in flames once the Psycho Soldier gets to the OTHER SNK boss of the game, Shin Akuma...
Perfect-play boss AI, you are a cruel mistress. When literally half the playthrough is dealing with the Final Boss you know there's a problem...
