The Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first Iron Man movie opened the doors for the recent collection of Marvel movies, and showed us how fascinating it would be to create an entire universe of movies that had links to one another. Sure, this was common in the comic books, but we thought it would only be a dream for it to happen on the big screen. Almost a decade later we’ve seen how Marvel’s Cinematic Universe has become part of our lives and how a snap can make us cry. But that’s more recent history, what about the original Avenger? We’re going all the way back to 1943 to talk about 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger on another episode of A Cast to the Past!
