CaptChang Plays Genesis Alpha One E45: No More Running
0Welcome to a new series start, CaptChang Plays Genesis Alpha One (Deluxe Edition). If you want to succeed in GAODE, you should watch this, where I will show you EVERY step I made, no camera tricks, no cutting out bad parts. There will be mistakes, running around blindly, tactical oops, WTH are you doing, and more.
In episode 45, our ship is sufficiently powerful, that we are not going to run any more when a rogue captain comes along. We have ship assault module, which actually includes weapons (albeit, abstracted). After we beat the enemy ship's shields, we can then board it like a derelict, except it has the rogues defending the ship... And you do get a reward if you beat the enemy captain: you get an artifact, usually a suit upgrade. So... let's see what happens...
So please ask any questions in the comments, why I do certain things, and so on, and I'll try to answer them for you.
For the purpose of this playthrough, I am using "traveler" difficulty (i.e. easy), with 7 reactors max, so I can build a fairly large ship.
