After devoting myself entirely to the creation of my first game, Horror Story: Hallowseed, I felt exhausted and depressed. In this dark period of 2022, I wrote a short but profound story that invited reflection on life, death, and the transience of our existence. My goal was not to create a game with an obvious explanation, but a story that players could intuitively feel the meaning of.
However, I soon lost all motivation and abandoned the project completely. It seemed that this story would never see the light of day. But three years later, something inside me reawakened - the desire to finish what I had started. Even though the development was restarted, the story I so wanted to tell remained unchanged.
STORY:
DeathOmen is a short but profound psychological horror that immerses the player in the twisted mind of a man unable to distinguish reality from illusion. My hope is that by playing this game you will not only feel the tension and mystery, but also understand the deep emotional experiences that inspired me to create it.
I share this openly with you in the hopes that by learning my personal story, you will better understand the concept behind DeathOmen.
