This is an unfinished rough cut of just a random idea we had to use up 3 hours of our time. From idea to finished shooting only took 2 to 3 hours. The idea was just to illustrate in a video that no matter how fucked up things get for yourself, your life still has value.. and it's not worth taking or hurting your life or anyone else's. it's intended as an anti-suicide message short film... This is a rough cut meaning that it's just raw of what we shot (with a Canon t2i / 550D) in those couple of hours and nothing else. It needs voice over and audio/color correcting and title cards. In this video the character was just fired and has no backup money eg is broke, his mother (and only parent) was in the hospital, and his girlfriend brutally dumped him for his best friend. Even in all this... when the future seems bleak... his life still has tremendous value. We did our best to show this with the photography/story with just 1 location and 2 hours of time to shoot.
