Certainly one of the best iOS games. (Because otherwise 99% of the games are f2p bullshit)
It's the original game, with all the contents, the gores and the fun ! And the driving is even better in this one.
They rework the ''animations'' frames, I mean by that, that there is no lag on your car or the others cars (easily seen while turning), it looks much smoother than the original even with 3DFX.
Too bad that it's impossible to play this game natively on the PC, it's a great ''Remake'' of the game, with higher quality textures. Even worse, it’s not even on sales anymore on the App store.
The only two majors differences that I see was that there is no dash view, and the fact that they ramp up the aggressiveness of the AI a little bit too high imo. They are more annoying than anything else, since you can’t lose by getting wreck, only if the time run out.
Some minor changes like a HD HUD, every cars have his own damages indicator HUD, the time not stopping at 19:59 (now stop at 99:59)
Sorry for the fps drops sometime, it's the software that I use to stream my iPad to my PC that do this. Overall is more than watchable I think, it was just not playable, too many lags and input lags (I played on my iPad screen, the game run at a perfect 60fps all the time)
The CGI videos between each match doesn't appear, I have no idea why, because it appear on my iPad screen, I add the second intro cinematic + the last winning cinematic from the original games (taken from one of my old Carma videos) because I got the same problems, showing on my iPad but not my PC.
This game, GTA and the Worms series are without any doubts my favorites British games.
This might be the game that I have made the most playthrough of it, it's alway fun to replay the entire game every 1-2 years.

Important Update: Since the iOS/iPadOS update 15.4 (April 2022?), this game is not playable anymore even if you bought it and pay money for it, THANKS APPLE ! Gotta love your fucking stupid update that stop apps from launching for no good fucking reasons at all.
They like to give pretty solid reasons to jailbreak your device, since they have done that already with the 32bits apps and they’ve done it again with an app that works perfectly on 64bits devices before this update.
It was probably my most played games.
THQ will certainly not give a flying fuck about updating the app since it is no longer on the store and they just don’t seems to care at all about the Carmageddon franchise.
Since it’s was the best version of the game and perfectly playable with a controller, fuck off Apple.
I’m going to love when everything that I bought won’t work in 10 years on my 2030 iPad "Pro" because of some stupid reasons, fucking fraud.
And I know it’s certainly is in the "Terms of service" but it is still scummy AF nonetheless.
