Set in a far future.
The player must survive wave after wave of genetically modified monsters that are trying to reach the heart of the vortex.
To stop the enemies, the player has heroes and defensive towers, which can be placed at specified locations on the map.
The tower types are different, in terms of range, damage and rate of attack. You can repair and upgrade towers.
It's a real-time game, so you build towers while the enemies are progressing through the level and get resources that allow you to build more towers.
To move around (scroll the screen) you use the mouse, a mouse-wheel to zoom in and out, and left click to build/upgrade/repair/sell towers.
The graphics are simply gorgeous; sound effects are pretty good; atmospheric music; awesomely voice acting. The levels with the futuristic setting are beautifully crafted and detailed.
This is a great game for fans of the Tower Defense genre.
With so much content already available, it’s definitely a game to try out even in Early Access.
