Carnival of Venice in Forge of Empires

Casanova, love, carnival and Venice inspired already many artists. This year there will be an event in Forge of Empires which looks a bit similar to last year's soccer event regarding game mechanics.

Each player receives red roses. These can be used and regenerate automatically similar as forge points. For completed carnival quests players receive either roses or hearts. Roses can also be bought for diamonds.

For 10 roses you can use one of three possibilities to get hearts. There is one secure method and two alternatives with different win probabilities.

The first possibility provides 10 roses every time. This will never change.

With the 15% option you can win more red roses, but only one out of seven attempts will deliver a price. Each fail will increase the result for the next win. The first lucky player wins it all. Afterwards the price again is very small.

You should pay attention to the 5% alternative. Statistically seen you only win once out of 20 attempts, but the possible price is much higher then.

The event runs until February 28th. During three weeks many roses can be used and traded for prices.

For twenty hearts you can achieve the double win chance.

There are three possibilities to win prices.

For the collected hearts you can buy a price that changes every 6 hours, e. g. the masquerade ball which is a cultural building. You will see exactly which price you will get, so you can wait until your favourite will be offered.

For either 600 or 700 hearts you get a box. In it is a random price picked from a list.

The player who wins the most hearts with only one click receives a Casanova decoration.

To receive as many hearts as possible this strategy is recommended:
Use at least your 11th rose immediately so that new roses can be generated all the time. With all other roses you should wait until many hearts will be offered as other players had no luck.

Use the 100% possibility only if there is no better opportunity.
The 15% opportunity is better if there are offered more than 60 hearts.
Accordingly the 5% opportunity is the best choice if twenty times as much is offered, which is 200 or more hearts. This means to be quick then and to have the required luck.

Not only red roses can be bought with diamonds. You can also buy hearts directly.

Using the secure method in the very beginning is a good idea as you then already have enough hearts to trade for doubling your success chance. The usage of of that joker is only recommended if twice as many hearts are offered as mentioned before, e. g. 400 hearts for the 5% possibility. In that case it is highly recommended to do so, especially before you run out of roses.
