FoEhints: Terrace Farms in Forge of Empires
Terrace Farms in Forge of Empires
The terrace farms are one of the possible rewards for a won 48th fight in the guild expedition. If you see these in a town, you know, this player is an excellent fighter or a good negotiator.
The terrace fields provide, comparable to the bazaar, six different production options. I think, nearly nobody ill use them to produce coins or supplies. Even medals will not be the preferred option, although a keen player can receive many more medals than an area filled with victory towers could deliver.
The terrace farms are popular because of their goods production and the forge points.
Those who want forge points will not care about the era the terrace farms are in. You receive 5 forge points every 24 hours. This will not change with the era, an upgrade only results in higher demand of population.
This is different with goods. These 10 goods always come from the era assigned to the terrace farm. In the beginning it will produce goods from the era you had when you received the terrace farm. Without your initiative this will never change, independent of your mutual advance to a higher era. But the terrace farms can be advanced with the renovation kit or the plus-1-kit and then it will produce goods from that new era.
Each terrace field consumes the huge area of 5 x 6, a total of 30 fields. Is this a profitable building if it consumes so much space? My personal opinion: Absolutely YES! Compared with the bazaar it produces 50% more goods or forge points related to the space it consumes. It is an advantage to build as many terrace farms as possible. It is a very reasonable reward for completing level four of guild expeditions.
