Carol talks to Verona, who is more forthcoming now. She shares a picture, which lets Carol unlock a box in the holiday house. Inside is Kevo's cell phone, which shows Kevo refused Pierre's illegal offer. As Carol leaves, Pierre confronts her. He confesses to murdering Kevo. She gets past Pierre and reports him to the police.
