Pierre Nyman and Carol have a flirty text conversation, which results in him giving her the address of his beach house, where Kevo dropped an electronic cigarette. The cigarette has a safe combination on it.
Carol solves puzzles at the beach house, which lead to Pierre's car, which leads to the combination to Pierre's safe. Inside is a blackmail letter from Verona, as well as a call phone. The text messages on the phone show he offered Kevo 20,000 to murder her.
