On my only trip to Carowinds last year (2021), I didn't have the best experience. Heat, insane crowds, short operating hours, and poor handling of those crowds on the park's end made for a somewhat miserable day where I couldn't get much done, even if the rides were fantastic.
So, I decided to return again, this time on an August weekday, to see if I could have a better experience. And a great day I had! Low crowd levels meant I got to ride many rides and enjoy the park a lot more than my visit last year. Come along as I explore different areas of the park and give my detailed thoughts on rides, park atmosphere, and more as I go!
