Western animation should go back to its roots! I think the best place to backpedal to would be the 90’s or the 2000’s where the animation was still hand drawn but much more fluid and advanced than the 70’s and 80’s. My generation was eating good when we were kids with bangers like allllll this, but now this gen is emaciated for good content. In the 20’s there is a couple of good NEW animation like Amphibia and The Cuphead Show, but so many are just sad reboots like I’ve already talked about (subtext picture or vid of other video). Honestly peak animation in our culture was the awesome hybrid of anime and comic book style like Avatar, Young Justice, and Thundercats 2011. There’s a reason that anime has people flocking to it in droves, all over the world, and western animation has such a clear divide within its people. Anime hasn’t changed besides the animation and art becoming more smooth and dynamic. Like, even though amphibia was an AMAZING show, it turns people off at first glance with the noodle art. The only reason I watched is because Brenda Song was in it. I watch shows based on the art style and go from there, and so do many other people, which is why anime is so comforting and a safe bet, 95% of the time it doesn’t change. Clearly that’s why...
