Castle of Uruk Visit #6 Walkthrough - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
16This is a walkthrough of the 6th visit to Uruk Castle. This is also the final time in the game you get to play as Mummy Tut. Some Urukites will show up with a Canopic Vase & take you to the next area of the castle.
Head to the right & drop down into the water. Continue forward & open the chest to get the 6th Stolen Abydos Jewel. Afterwards you will be engulfed in flames. Turn around & burn the pyramid crate to get some Onyx Scarabs then drop into the water & pull the lever on the other side of the room. This will, for a limited time, raise a platform out of the water.
With the platform raised return to the chest room to set yourself on fire. Then use the raised platform to jump over to the blocks with the wooden structures & burn them all down. Use the blocks that fall to reach the upper level of this room. Burn the 2 pyramid crates then shimmy across the ledge on the other side of the doorway to get passed the jet of water & burn the wooden boxes.
Doing all this in the short time you're on fire is difficult so set yourself on fire as many times as you need to in order to get all of this done.
With the boxes burned drop down & pull the lever to raise the platform then ignite yourself again. This time go through the doorway on the upper level & go into the lava filled room. Burn the pyramid crate at the entrance to the lava room then run across the lava to the next pyramid crate & doorway.
Step on the floor switch to open the door at the end of a corridor filled with lasers. Touching a laser will cause the door to shut. If this happens step on the switch to open the door again. Once you make it through the doorway pull the lever to raise some platforms in the lava room. Climb up the ladder to find yet more lasers. These you don't have to worry about touching as all they do is cause you to be electrified (which you want to be).
Keep going until you're back in the lava room. Drop down onto 1 of the platforms in the lava & turn around to see a post that you need to zap with electricity. Do so & a bridge will appear above.
Return through the laser hallways & get zapped again. Cross the bridge about halfway then drop down onto 1 of the platforms in the lava (alternatively you could turn around after being electrocuted & hop along the platforms in the lava) then go back to the water room from before.
Shimmy across the ledges while avoiding the streams of water then drop down at the end of the 2nd ledge to land on dry ground. Go through the doorway & continue along until you reach another post. Zapping this post will activate a large fan.
Head back & cross the bridge in the lava room. Cross the 2nd bridge & dodge the mashers. You should see a ladder to the right. Climb down this ladder & use the boxes floating in the water to reach yet another post & zap it. This will activate a 2nd fan. Climb up the ladder in the cage to the side & pull the lever at the top. This will cover up the bars in the ground for safe passage.
Get flattened by the mashers & jump into the fan to float over to the doorway. Continue into the 2nd fan room & float over to the doorway to the left. Pull the lever at the end of the path then quickly return to the fan & take the path to the new left (if you aren't flat anymore you can use the platforms along the wall to reach this doorway. Run into the room at the end of the hallway before the gate shuts & you'll get turned into a cloud of smoke.
Go back to the fan & take the path across from you (the path that initially brought you to this room) & go right. Some spikes will come out of the floor making a wall. Before passing the spikes you should check to make sure that you have all 80 Onyx Scarabs from this part of the castle. As a mummy this wall of spikes would block your path, as smoke, however, you can pass right through.
Walk forward in this next area & you'll get diced into 3 mummies. Have each mummy pull a lever & jump on the platform switch that appears. Upon doing this 3 times a set of moving platform switches will appear. Move the mummies onto these switches & yet another set of switches will appear. Move them 1 more time to shut off the ray then jump onto the platform with the Sacred Crown of Set to grab it.
