Castle of Uruk Visit #4 Walkthrough - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
24Unlike the first 3 times you've been here this time you want to leave out the front door & crawl through the crawlspace to the left. In the next area jump up and grab the ledge to the right & maneuver your way to the end. Drop down onto the ledge at the end then drop down to the ground behind the eye switches & run through the doorway.
In the next area drop down & go to the left to get flattened. Turn around, pull the lever, & go through the doorway toward where you came from. Run around the holes in the ground then through the barred gate. In this area you'll get sucked in by a fan and fall through some shredders cutting you into 3 mummies.
Control 1 of the mummies & make him stand on the platform near the end of 1 of the tunnels then make the other 2 mummies stand on the floor switches. Switch back to the 1st mummy & ride the platform up to the top then pull the nearby lever to keep the platform moving. Move the other 2 mummies to the top where the 1st one is.
Move the mummies back into the main room & have 2 of the mummies stand on the floor switches that are 1st on the left side & 2nd on the right so that you can go passed the mashers. Use the 3rd mummy to run passed the mashers & into the next area where there is a chest containing the 4th Stolen Abydos Jewel. After opening the chest you'll be engulfed in flames.
While on fire climb up the nearby ladder & turn left. Burn the 2 pyramid crates to get some Onyx Scarabs then pull the lever. Drop back down into the main room and take the pathway on the right side of the room. At the end of this path is a river & a couple pyramid crates. Pull the lever & run across the scaffolding to burn the wooden fence blocking your way.
Now before continuing this way there are 4 pyramid crates that are at the ground level of this area. These Onyx Scarabs are a bit difficult to get without falling into the water so you'll almost certainly need to reignite yourself a couple times. After getting all of the Onyx Scarabs in this room you can go back up to where you burned down the wooden gate & continue that way (you'll have to pull the lever to raise the scaffolding again).
Get zapped by the zapper thing then use the platforms to cross the water. Touch the post at the end to open the gate then return to the zapper to get zapped a 2nd time. Make your way back to the main room being careful not to lose your electricity on the way.
Make the electrified mummy stand on the 1st floor switch on the left (there will be another mummy already on this switch) then switch to the normal mummy.
Take this mummy & set him aflame then return to the main room using the ladder & make him stand on the 2nd switch on the left. Move the 3rd (normal) mummy onto the 1st floor switch on the right then take the electrified mummy into the room that opened up. Touch the post to electrify it & this will activate some water pumps.
At this point you'll want to make sure you grabbed all 100 Onyx Scarabs found on this visit to Uruk Castle.
Take back control of the fire mummy & hop along the water pumps. It's easiest to do this while the platforms are down. Then ride the last 1 up. You'll find yourself at a puzzle with 5 torches that need to be all lit at the same time.
Ignite the "front" torch closest to the water pumps then ignite the rest in the following order: Left, Top Right, Left, Right, Left, Top Left. Notice that every other torch that you light is the left one.
Successfully completing Rameses' puzzle will get you the Hands of Amun.
