32You're able to get the Large Scarab Bag any time after you get the 4th Stolen Abydos Jewel. Before getting the Large Scarab Bag, however, you first need to get the Parasol. To get the Parasol go to the Abydos Museum & give the Jewel Inspector 4 of the Stolen Abydos Jewels. Upon returning 4 jewels the Jewel Inspector will give you the Parasol.
With the Parasol in hand return to Bedouin Outpost in the South Desert of Heliopolis. Across from the tents is a wooden structure. Climb the rope of this structure to find the Poor Bird from Abydos at the top. Talk to him & he'll see that you have a Parasol. Give it to him & in exchange he'll give you the Large Scarab Bag. This scarab bag gives you the ability to hold up to 900 Gold Scarabs at once (as well as every Onyx Scarab in the game).
