Around 8 hours 38 minutes to beat. This one was in the backlog for a while. This is a re-upload since I accidentally edited out Stage 9 in the original post. Since this was old footage I had an issue with the 4th stage in editing. It seems the footage used for that stage is from my practice run of the game which used save states. I could not find the actual legit footage, but it does still show each section completed properly. Review video coming soon.
Having completed all of the linear style 2D castlevania games (Minus some ports and the arcade game Haunted Castle, one of the GB releases), I found this to be the hardest in the series. There is Vampire Killer on MSX but that game is really not linear and requires hunting for keys and alot of backtracking. I have beaten some other games in the series such as the modern Lords Of Shadows games, Castlevania 64, Simon's Quest, Symphony Of The Night, Kid Dracula series and some others. Some of these are on the channel but anything beaten prior to 2016 never got recorded.
Continues where no new progress was made are edited out. You will see I got through 3 or 4 worlds before needing to continue. Thats about where the difficulty starts to really spike up. If you see the lives change at the beginning of a stage it means I lost continues. I only show the successful set of lives where progress was made, so those are the only deaths shown. The tutorial will be further edited down.
