Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Boss 05 & 06 - Devil & Giant Merman
0The last time I battled the bosses, I didn't manage to get everything without getting damage. Hence, my aim this time is to fully replicate the battles without getting damage.
Considering Shadowserg and ArektheAbsolute have published 'No Damage, No Sub-weapon' Castlevania boss battles, I resorted to a more casual version of no damage battles, with occasional use of other mechanics provided in the game. I don't bother with the 'Excellent' now. My emu lags and nullify my inputs when I try to catch the orb after Devil. It was almost the same case after Giant Merman.
In contrast with the current version, I had the Wind Book at this point of the game in the previous run. I think I've gone 'astray' that time *wink*.
*got beaten, shot and stabbed*
Me: No! Please! Not in the face!!!
Devil: Since you'll find it as a normal encounter, Devil may not be too hard, unless you got Cursed. Just be careful with the space when it's attacking on the ground. 'Flame Bullet' is easy to dodge. 'Fiery Hand' need some space. 'Heat Ray' won't pose a threat since it got some 'activation time' after the Devil start to execute it.
Giant Merman: Giant Merman can be a joke since all of it's attacks are considered weak. But you need to be wary of it's 'Summon Friends' since you may forgot what these lackeys will do. You may think it's easy since it's attacks may not kill you, but it is a reset for me.
Please note that I still use the nomenclature used in my 'Subweapon and Spells' video. Plus, till date, Castlevania Fandom haven't properly list Juste's spells.
