This beats my previous best of this stage by 4 seconds. This is just a cleaner run in general and has a much better boss fight by using caviar. I have Retro Cloak and Fuma Helm in this run, which gives me more MP and higher INT. The caviar strat was not possible with my old setup.

There are basically just two things to mention here. This route runs on two timers: the guillotine/axe timer and the flame tower timer. The axes start moving once the level begins. If I go as fast as possible, I have to wait briefly at the axes for the soonest possible moment Simon can pass through. Though I slide off a platform in this run, I still make it to the axes in time for the best possible strategy. No time lost up to that point.

The flames outside Beelzebub's room also fire at regular intervals since the stage loads. If I hit both corner boosts perfectly (meaning I land on the ledge after the first corner boost) and have flawless platforming, I still cannot pass through them one cycle sooner than I do in this run. Therefore, even though my first corner boost missed the ledge, it still didn't cost any time.

Beelzebub is not on any timer, so all my actions count here. I need to clear away the flies before I can advance, so I use a variation of my previous strategy: throw 4 axes, edge closer, then alternate between axe+boomerang for 4 more throws. This lets me do a few more hundred damage than I otherwise would with just axes, but still kills the flies just as quickly. The rest is standard. Just throw R.Boomerangs until he dies. I have just enough MP to kill him.

This is a great run. I will not be improving it.
