0The stream is significantly harder than the level before it. It has a variety of deadly enemies, some next to pits, so you need to be extra careful to avoid getting knocked off the stage. Plus there's the birds and a falling bridge.
The stage's boss (the serpents) are harder than they should be because of Castlevania's knockback. It's very easy to get knocked into the water, so a safe strategy is to run from one edge of the middle platform to the other, so the serpent's firebreath can't reach you. Don't do this as Grant though (watch and see why)! As Grant, it's easier to move out of the way of the serpents, so take advantage of that if you allied with Grant.
