The bee level doesn't really give you much time. It's not that fair to make the player rush, only to have them run into enemies half the time. the best way to do it is to memorize the level, come in with powerups, or take a shell, so you could at least run into at least one enemy and not get damaged.
Arroyo Tower has its own bug, where half of some coins don't disappear when you pick them up. It's a pretty huge visual flaw, and it can't be missed. The boss is unforgiving. the only sane strategy to beat it is to swim to the top middle, swim right, then fall down onto the ledge on the right to make the boss fall all the way to the ground. You can't outswim this boss no matter how hard you try, so this is the only reasonable way. You don't even have to pick up the bombs and throw them yourself. The Bomb Bros usually hit the thing for you anyway. The real challenge is evading the weird urchin-like boss.
