My live gameplay of the final boss battle in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, played in Hard Mode, with level 1 cap.
My tactic requires open the menu very often to change back and forth equipment. If you are confident about never taking damage, Ancient Armor becomes optional. Also, try to perform critical attacks (Forward, Forward+Attack) whenever the boss is on the ground.

Notable equipment:
Weapon: Holy Claymore (for phase 1), (Upgraded) Vampire Killer (for phase 2)
Armor: Berserker Mail (maximizes outgoing damage), Ancient Armor (minimizes incoming damage)
Spell: STR Boost (maximizes outgoing damage in idle time)
Accessory: Magus Ring (boosts MP restoration)
