Boss: Dagon - 10:22
I like the music here. According to the official wikia this is also Charlotte's theme.
Before coming here I did some serious money farming to buy two sets of Paludamentums for Charlotte and Jonathan (+10 DEF/INT in total for both). And trained Holy Water to master by genociding Skeleton Gunmen near the Nation of Fools portrait. Yay.
I did the money farming In the spot close to Sandy Grave portrait with LUCK Boost. Killing the Persephones there is easy enough and you can get Frilly Camisole which you can sell for respectable 2,450 gold. Depending on your luck you can get enough money for sets Paludamentum to both characters in less than an hour (or Holy Mantles if you haven't spent enough money on Vincent's shop to unlock it or don't have enough patience to gather 60k gold for this).
Holy Mantles give +3 DEF (not really relevant) and +3 INT, but since this is goddamn Hard Lv. 1 Cap every bit of INT or STR you can squeeze out of equipment helps.
Anyway, Forest of Doom is a pretty easy map as long as you play safe. Heaven's Sword (from Flying Armors found at Nation of Fools) is a huge helping hand here especially against groups of Killer Bees, Harpies and Beehives. It's also good to deal with Corpseweeds.
Against Corpseweeds, Harpies, Moldy Corpses and Student Witches you can use Medusa Whip (from Medusa Heads in Nation of Fools or Tower of Death) to petrify them and save yourself some from trouble.
Spirit of Light (from Vincent) is a great help against Dogethers and can help you pick off enemies from a safe distance. Their rare drop Stone Circle, is a very useful spell for Death and Abaddon fights as well and overall a good thing to have to fight pesky projectile spammers.
Dagon is either a difficult boss or pitifully easy depending on your weapons and spell choices. Clear Skies and Heaven's Sword makes short work of that thing even in Hard Level 1. Without preparation things tend to be more difficult as the water spitting attack can be really difficult to avoid long enough and those tadpole-bomb things are one-hit kills on Jonathan even with the best gear available up until now.
Just watch out not to jump too high or else Charlotte will despawn. If that happens while the boss is in the middle of the water cannon attack that's going to hurt a lot.

A few notes about this run:
* Played on Hard difficulty at Max Level 1 cap.
* Done on fresh new game (no New Game+ items or benefits AT ALL).
* NO Ancient Armor, Vic Viper, Twin Bee or Konami Man, and any Boss Rush reward.
* Grinding for items, equipment and mastery will done off-screen between videos. I won't use items of areas I haven't visited yet.
* NO Wind duplication item glitch will be used here.
* I won't abuse of certain utterly broken stuff like Miser Ring + Gold Ring + Gold grind.
