On my second video playing Black Desert Online, I show you a small glimpse of the normal progression in the game, long before reaching endgame and participating fully in all the available activites, including PvP (Player versus Player) combat.
Most longtime players recommend starting out the game by following the main quest line, as it allows for decent character growth and obtaining decent equipment, so that's what I'm doing.
I'm not sure how far along I am, and while the story is mostly silly, I'm enjoying the game.
Why? Well, because of the one thing this game shines at: the combat. Even if you're not very good at it, you'll eventually pull off incredible looking combos effortlessy, and feeling like a champ in the process.
Obviously, the experience will probably be very different if you play with a group of friends, or in a guild, but that is a different time investment and a casual player might not be able to afford it.
