Cataball - Commodore 64 - longplay
5Once again, a trilllion thanks to minotaurus, for making this longplay and, as usual writing a lot of notes about this game, here they are:
The game came out in a hit-pak collection called "trio", published by Elite.
As you can see from the intro picture, the strange thing is that 4 games appear on the collection cover, while actually inside the tape there are only 3, including cataball!!
Did 3DC make its way to the market? quick searches reveal no clue, but if someone knows anything feel free to comment! (btw from cover screen it looks like a spectrum game)
In the 3rd level (arctic ice) if you die you can hear this "alien" and creepy sound 03:09.
Notice that if you die you'll loose every balloon collected in that level.
This game exists with another name: Hoppin' Mad, some sort of update to Cataball, released the following year (1988) and sold as a standalone game.
