We traveled down to Applied Tesla Technology in Texas a few months ago to attempt some HIGH VOLTAGE experiments.

The Tesla coil used is a Model 3 MTC from www.teslacoil.com it uses 30kW of input power, and some of the lightning pulses can reach upwards of a MEGAWATT. That's more electricity than a commercial solar farm!

The lightning being produced is more than enough to kill a person instantly. For safety, we wore faraday cage suits -- one-piece welded chain mail suits over our entire bodies. Having metal all around you ensures the electricity flows OVER you via the skin effect, instead of going through you. But as you get sweaty in the suit, you start to feel the electricity through the suit!

It was truly an experience of a lifetime!
